DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Planning for the Decatur Celebration is still going strong despite a road bump.
Earlier this year, the event’s producer resigned and a new leader took her place. The new producer says people can expect more local and street performers this year than in year’s past.
They hope to release the main headliners in late May or early June. Some things, like ticket prices, will stay the same.
Organizers say they still need the community’s support. They’re still looking for arts-and-crafts and food vendors. The Decatur Celebration is scheduled for August 2 – 4.
