All clear following lock-down at school

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) —  A Champaign school was placed on lock-down after reports of shots fired in the area.

School officials say in an email that Booker T. Washington Elementary School was put on lockdown Wednesday at 3:04pm.

It was in response to shots heard call.

The all clear was given fifteen minutes later.

Champaign Police officers were there when students were released.
