Active shooter training

MT. ZION, Ill. (WCIA)– School officials participated in an active shooter training. There were students, parents, teachers, and administrators at the training. The program was about 8 hours long and was taught by Resolute Dynamics instructors.

This was a hands on training designed to teach techniques like how to stop a shooter who enters the building, what to do if someone is injured, and how to treat someone who is wounded. The training is also offered to businesses.
