CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — One kid with cancer got his wish come true today.
10 year old Henry Antonio was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago. He’s been waiting a year for his Make-A-Wish shopping spree, and that day finally came.
A limo picked up his family and drove them around town to go shopping. What he wanted most was a Playstation. But this meant a lot more to him than just material things.
“It feels great. Thank you Make-A-Wish because now I really have the things I wanted and I won’t get bored.”
“Every time when we were in the hospital just keep smiling. In the hard time and the hard days when I saw my son going down just keep smiling and continue.”
Doctors say he’s been through the worst of it, and his prognosis looks good.
