URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — A group of Urbana High School students is back after performing at Carnegie Hall in New York.

The performance was part of the Total Vocal Experience. It’s an annual concert of a capella music.

An organization called DCINY chose the group because of its audition video.

Students performed along with groups from all over the world. Some practices took up to six hours. The student sang eight different songs, including a duet.

The trip cost more than $1,800 per student. All the money was generated through fundraising.
