3 separate DUI arrests

COLES COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Three men face various charges, including DUI, for separate traffic-related incidents. 

25-year old Joshua Lawhorn, of Arcola, was arrested Monday for driving 100 mph in a 55 mph zone. Authorities say he also registered a blood alcohol level higher than the legal limit of 0.08. His charges include DUI/alcohol, DUI/BAC > 0.08, and reckless driving.

22-year old Sean Carter, of Mattoon, was arrested Thursday after being pulled over for driving all over the roadway. Authorities say he also registered a blood alcohol level higher than the legal limit of 0.08. His charges include DUI/alcohol, DUI/BAC > 0.08 nad driving while driver’s license suspended.

19-year old Blaze Taylor-Lutz, of Charleston, was arrested Sunday after fleeing from a traffic stop. Authorities say he fled the scene at a high rate of speed. He was later arrested at his home and his vehicle was seized pending an asset forfeiture.

Taylor-Lutz’s charges include DUI, aggravated fleeing/eluding police, obstructing identification and reckless driving. Overall, he was given seven traffic citations and faces multiple other criminal charges.

 All three incidents are pending further investigation.
