3 arrested after search warrant served

EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WCIA) — Three people face various charges. A search warrant was served about 8 am, Wednesday, at Four Seasons Trailer Park.

Authorities were conducting an investigation into the delivery of methamphetamine. More than 30-grams of methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia and an undetermined amount of cash was seized during the search.

Adrian Mitchell, 28, of St. Elmo, who was home at the time, was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants.

Two men who were not in the residence at the time, were later taken into custody and appeared in court Friday morning.

Formal charges were brought against Dannie Foster, 51, of Effingham, and Jeremy Westpfahl, 33, of Altamont.

Foster is charged with the class X felony of manufacture/delivery methamphetamine 15 – 100 grams and the class 1 felony of possession of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $1 million.

Westpfahl is charged with the class 1 felony of possession of methamphetamine 15 grams or great. His bond is set at $75,000.
