SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Two area men face charges after police responded to a call of shots fired. It happened about 12:20 am, Sunday, in the 1500-block of East Cook.
When officers arrived, they saw one man running and jumping into the passenger seat of a fleeing vehicle. The suspect was located a short time later after running into a nearby residence.
28-year old Cin’Quinn Roberson faces charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon by a convicted felon, no FOID card and reisisting arrest.
A subsequent investigation determined 25-year old Tyrell Harris was also involved in the incident. He was arrested Tuesday on a $250,000 bond. He’s accused of aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and reckless discharge of a firearm.
No one was hurt in the shooting.
