CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — Two people face charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
About 4:30 am, Wednesday, April 4, police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near storage units in the 500-block of Treeline Drive.
Officers approached the vehicle and clearly saw suspected drug paraphernalia in plain view.
A probable cause search resulted in the seizure of about 1.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
35-year old Dustin Brown and 37-year old Nakia Lauren, both homeless, were taken into custody without incident. Brown’s vehicle was also seized pending a hearing.
