CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — Two people face drug charges after a traffic stop. It happened about 1:20 pm, Saturday, at 4th Street and Monroe Avenue.
27-year old Rick Kemper and 30-year old Jessica Philbrick, both of Mattoon, are accused of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.
Authorities say a K-9 alerted on the vehicle which led to a search. Officers found more than 30-grams hidden in the engine compartment.
The vehicle was seized pending a hearing.
