DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — Police made arrests in two armed robberies.

The first happened about 2:30 am, Monday, July 9, at Circle K, in the 2600-block of North Vermilion Street. The second happened about 10:10 pm, Thursday, July 12, at Family Video in the 700-block of North Gilbert Street.

In both instances, two men robbed the businesses at gunpoint taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators determined Quintan Morton, 26, was involved in both hold-ups. Officials say Deontre Davis, 18, was the second suspect in the Circle K crime. Both Morton and Davis were taken into custody Thursday.

They’re trying to determine the identity of the second suspect in the Family Video robbery.
