FARMER CITY, Ill. (WCIA)–A library is trying to get women to exercise more than just their brains. The Farmer City Public Library just got 20 new fit bits. They applied for a grant through the National Network of Libraries of Medicine in January. They got the devices and started a program called “Resolve To Be Active Women’s Wellness Group.”
They started classes in February. The women are borrowing the fit bits and can return them after the program.
