Kid to Know whistles while he works!

ARCOLA — This Kid to Know has a strategy for working the whistle.

You would normally find Jordan Sieger at Shelbyville High School, but two days a week, you might just see the 18-year old at another school officiating volleyball games as a part-time job.

He also works cross country, track meets and basketball games. You have to be 17 to do the job for the IHSA.

Jordan took an online class, got some rule books and passed without missing a question. He loves his new line of work.

Jordan says he is one of the youngest officials in the entire state. He only knows of a 17-year old in Northern Illinois.
