WCIA — The IHSA announced its plan to modify high school sports for the 2020-21 school year on Wednesday, with several changes to the current format. Football, boys’ soccer and volleyball are moving to the spring, while other sports like cross country and golf will remain in the fall.
Their announcement comes hours after Gov. JB Pritzker detailed a new series of restrictions on adult and youth recreational sports as coronavirus cases continue to climb in the state.
