Hooves of Hope could use helping hand

News

POTOMAC — An area non-profit has some new additions. Hooves of Hope is showing off a new barn and what it has planned for the future.

Leaders want to build classrooms and a game room for the kids, plus a viewing area for parents. The organization uses horses to teach children, everything from strength to responsibility.

Recently, a new portion of the barn was added and Mary Remole says the future looks bright. She says they’ve applied for some grants to finish the inside, but are waiting to see what the next step will be.

It offers its services to children and families. Remole hopes to also add visiting schools to the list. The inside of the barn isn’t quite finished.
