ILLINOIS (WCIA) — The Secretary of State’s office announced Tuesday they will be conducting statewide parking stings during the holiday season. They will target people who illegally park in spaces reserved for people with disabilities starting Black Friday.

If you’re caught parking in an accessible space, the fine is up to $350. Those misusing a placard face a 6-month driver’s license suspension and a $600 fine.
