COLES COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — There were 17 additional COVID-19 cases reported by the Coles County Health Department on Tuesday.
There is now a total of 1,643 COVID-19 cases in Logan County, including 34 deaths. Of those total cases, 1,470 people have recovered.
Health department officials said Coles County was moved to the orange warning level for the week of September 20-26. The county has 226 per 100,000 while the goal is to have less than 50 per 100,000. Additionally, officials said the county’s positivity rate is 8.6% with the target being 8% or less.
