Girls across the state compete to raise money for charity and support female empowerment

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA)– Girls showed off their best gymnastic skills to get people to open their wallets for a good cause. About 500 gymnasts aged 6 to 18 from all over the state competed at the Leonard center. The event was put on by I-Power School of Gymnastics. The organizers put this event on each year to raise money for charity and support female empowerment.

Sunday was the second and last day for the event. Organizers are still deciding which charity will get the money they raised.
