URBANA – A show brought together people from several states this weekend. It was the 13th annual Illini Farm Toy Show.
The show was held at the Wyndham Garden Inn. More than 20 vendors were there to sell and trade collectibles. Kids also got to learn about agriculture with hands-on play time. Those who went say it’s a great chance to meet new people.
“Toys have a story. Tractors have a story. No matter how old you are, there’s a story about a certain tractor that you used to play with as a kid or your parent or grandparent had a tractor that they used when they farmed. So it’s really neat just to hear the stories about the toys,” says vendor Brad Underwood.
Tickets were three dollars for adults. Part of the proceeds went toward ag in the classroom.
