MAHOMET — An Emmy winner is bringing his trophies back to his hometown.

Hans Waters visited his alma mater; Mahomet-Seymour High School Wednesday. To show his appreciation for the school, he’s dedicating one of his trophies to them.

Waters won three Emmys for his work in video-editing at events like the X-games, the Olympics and the 2015 Super Bowl. The trophy is being proudly displayed in the showcase at the gym.

Waters is keeping one trophy for himself and giving the third one to his parents. He says he owes a lot of his career success to their help and encouragement.
