CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — Friday was a first in one city. A recreational marijuana dispensary opened Friday morning in Charleston.
Doors opened at Zen Leaf, which is near the corner of Lincoln and 9th Street. It is the only dispensary in the region.
Owners said the area was under-served and they wanted to give people a closer option.
