City closer to decision on marijuana tax

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — City council is moving forward with plans to tax recreational marijuana.

They talked about it Tuesday night. It still has to go for an official vote. That should happen next week.

They say the tax could bring in between $625,000 to $955,000.
