Church sells pumpkins for Habitat for Humanity home

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Prairie Avenue Christian Church in Decatur is raising money for a neighborhood revitalization project.

They want a Habitat for Humanity home next door to their church. To raise money, they are selling pumpkins.

This is the first week that their makeshift pumpkin patch was open. It will stay open until Halloween.

The church shipped in 1,300 pumpkins. So far, they have sold almost 100.
