Champaign continues search for police chief

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The city of Champaign has received several applications for police chief.

Former police chief Anthony Cobb stepped down in August. The city teamed up with a hiring firm and they’ve received at least 33 applications. The city manager says they’re happing about the number and quality of people applying. As a reminder, they’re still accepting applicants.
