URBANA — At least five cars caught fire Tuesday afternoon when power lines fell. It happened at Reynolds Towing, on Kenyon Road.
It started after a semi-truck clipped some power lines, causing a chain reaction which ended with two lines falling on the cars. Crews had to wait for the power to be turned off before they could start working.
It took about 20 minutes to extinguish the fire. No one was hurt, but three employees were under the lines when they started falling.
Some cars are a total loss. Officials are working to find out who the owners are.
