ALPLM recognizes 4 millionth visitor

SPRINGFIELD — A local tourist attraction hit a milestone this weekend. The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum welcomed its four millionth visitor.

That “visitor” was actually the Arnold family.They stopped by on a road trip from Oregon to Kentucky. Elise Arnold says she wants her kids to learn as much as they can about U.S. history.

The museum has been open almost 11 years. Museum officials only expected to have two million visitors by now.
