Airport traffic center employee tests positive for COVID-19

PEORIA, Ill. (WCIA) — Many people are staying away from flying these days. At least one employee at the Peoria Airport air traffic control center tested positive for COVID-19.

Despite that, the tower remains in normal operations. Several flights to and from Chicago were canceled Sunday. The air traffic control at Chicago’s Midway Airport is closed for cleaning after a worker tested positive there last week.
