IDNR closes off Clinton Lake and Middle Fork River because of flooding

CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — State officials are closing off two waterways because of flooding.

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says Clinton Lake and the Middle Fork Vermilion River are closed to recreational boating because of flooding-related hazards.

The closure went into effect Sunday morning.
