MACON COUNTY — Students are safe after reports of a gun threat at Argenta-Oreana High School.
The sheriff’s office says a 15-year old student is in custody. They say he made a violent threat on social media.
Investigators say another 16-year old student was arrested and released. They say he used the threat to alarm students.
Both have been charged with disorderly conduct.
The school district says there is no threat to anyone at the school.
