Beardstown protest to honor George Floyd


BEARDSTOWN, Ill. (WCIA) –Beardstown held a protest to honor George Floyd on Wednesday.
The crowd kneeled in silence for eight minutes.
They also started chanting George Floyd’s last words….
“I can’t breathe”.
The Cass County Sheriff’s office posted on Facebook saying all involved in the protest were respectful and were allowed to express their views peacefully.
