CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — U of I Police are thanking emergency veterinarians at the College of Veterinary Medicine for helping their police dog. They posted to Twitter that K-9 officer, Chewy, was hurt during a training. A table fell on his lower leg. Officers report Chewy is recovering and is going to be okay.
