VERMILION COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — At least one school district is no longer taking students’ temperatures as they get onto the bus or enter the school building.

That is coming from the superintendent of Salt Fork Schools. The District is still asking parents to monitor their kids, but said health officials are no longer recommending temperature checks as an effective means of combatting COVID-19.
