MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Macon County Health Department reported the death of a 24th county resident with COVID-19.
In a release, officials said the patient was a man in his 50s. Additionally, 25 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Wednesday.
There are a total of 415 COVID-19 cases in the county. Of those total cases, 246 have been released from isolation while 141 remain isolated at home. Officials said there are currently four residents with the virus that are hospitalized.
