Health department: 21st resident with COVID-19 passes away

MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Joint Crisis Communications Team reported an additional resident with COVID-19 has died.

The Macon County Health Department said this was the 21st resident with the virus to die. In the county, there are 200 COVID-19 cases. Of those patients, 131 have been released from isolation. There are 48 residents that are still in home isolation.
