URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — We introduce you to a woman who says time spent in hospital waiting rooms with her late husband changed her outlook on donating blood.

Ramona Sullivan spent a lot of time in hospitals, doctor’s offices, and waiting rooms with her husband Lionel Williams from 1996 to 2000.

Williams was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome in 1996.

Sullivan says she was a sporadic donor since she was 17 years old but this experience changed her.
