Age Appropriate Makeup Tips for Tweens and Teens

Lauren Foran, Owner & Lead Makeup Artist, with Lauren Foran Bridal Beauty, shares her top makup tips for girls entering Junior High and High School.

Here’s more about Lauren and the services she provides with Lauren Foran Bridal Beauty:

We specialize in special occasion makeup with six years of specializing in Bridal Makeup. We create looks that are beautiful and well suited to our clients need, whatever their occasion calls for, even day to day wear! In 2019, we are offering hair services as well!

The questions we get asked the most are how to make their makeup last all day, how to apply lashes and lots of questions about contouring and brows!

We are super client-centric so what the client really wants is at the heart of how we run our business, our consultations ensure that our clients feel the most beautiful on the day of their event or even just their very best for the rest of the day in the cases of trial runs and makeup lessons!

In August, we are offering back to school makeup lessons for junior high ages 11 through 13 years old. $45 lesson which includes how to use a pencil liner, powder, blush, how to cover a blemish, mascara and one eyeshadow age appropriate for wear to school daily.

High schoolers, ages 14 to 18 years old, $55 lesson that includes a basic everyday makeup look, including complexion, brows and a simple eye look that is appropriate for a daily wear to school.

We always offer single feature looks as a lesson for $20, this would be a specific type of eye look, brows, contouring, lips or an overall Foundation routine. This is great for all ages and it’s available as an add-on service to our junior high or high school lessons if the girls are a little further along in their makeup knowledge and wanting to advance their skills.
