Local firefighters are revved up for a show that puts classic cars in the driver seat.
It’s happening in your community, Brian Hoff and Travis Crow with Urbana Fire Department share more.
Urbana Firefighters Local 1147 is hosting their 3rd annual vehicle show to raise funds for the Urbana Firefighter Charity Fund. We would also like to provide a safe and enjoyable venue for children of the community to Trick-or-Treat.

Local 1147 established the Firefighters Charity Fund several years ago in order to support various groups in the community. Since its creation, the Charity Fund has been able to help the following organizations: Community Fire Victims, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Operation Santa, Boy Scouts of America, Brotherhood, UIPD Benefit, Lyndsey-Clark Benefit, as well as other charities as approved by committee. One of the primary goals of our charity fund is to provide immediate help to those who are affected by tragedy. Each day we respond to various emergencies and this charity fund allows us to ease the burden for those when possible. Urbana Firefighters Local 1147 would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have participated in this fundraising event. It is with your generosity that these local groups will continue to receive our support.
