U of I Student Chef’s Banana Bread

U of I Student Chef Natalie Rosenberg with the Bevier Cafe shares a family favorite recipe.
Banana Bread 
1 cup of Sugar 
1/2 cup of Vegetable oil 
2 eggs
4 ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla 
1/2 cup sour cream 
1 1/2 cups of flour 
1 tsp. of salt 
1 tsp. of baking soda 
1 cup of milk chocolate chips 
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Mix sugar and vegetable oil 
3. Add 2 eggs one at a time, 4 smashed bananas, vanilla and sour cream to the sugar and vegetable oil mixture 
4. In another bowl combine, flour, baking soda and salt 
5. Mix wet and dry ingredients together 
6. Add chocolate chips 
7. Pour mixture in a lightly floured bread pan 
8. Cook for 60 min 
9. Cool for 30 minutes (or more)
