Summer fun at Piatt County Fair

The Piatt County Fair is an agricultural based fair which features swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle, horticulture and general exhibits. Highlights of the fair are always the ITPA Tractor Pull, the Antique Tractor Pull and the interest in the surrounding communities youth with the Baby Contest and Celebrate our Youth program.

The Piatt County fair originated with several local farmers who determined a highlight of Piatt Counties youth and their livestock should be created. The fair originally began in Monticello and moved to it’s existing location in Cerro Gordo years later.

We may not have rides or demolition derby’s but the HEART of our fair and the hundred that attend always look forward to the ITPA Tractor pull, the inflatables for the kids and the comradery of those they call friends and family.
