Happenstance Found Object Exhibition in Springfield

When it comes to one art exhibit taking place in downtown Springfield, one man’s trash truly can become another man’s masterpiece. The Happenstance Found Object Sculpture Exhibition on display at the Springfield Art Association Collective is giving artists an opportunity to show off what they can do when it comes to recycling objects.

From trees made from the pages of old books, to a vase made of animal hair, Central Illinois artists exhibiting at Happenstance put their creativity to the test to make use of otherwise forgotten items. If you would like to check out Happenstance, it runs through November 11th at the Springfield Art Association Collective, located at the Hoogland Center for the Arts.
