Central Illinois Wildcats Dribble-a-Thon

The Central Illinois Wildcats are a travel basketball team made up of players ages 3rd grade – High School. Our mission as an organization is about more than just playing basketball, though.

We strive to provide our players with opportunities to give back to the community and help those less fortunate. During the winter our kids hat a mittens and hats drive for Crisis Nursery and volunteered as bell ringers for the Salvation Army.

On Sunday, July 2nd we are hosting a dribble-a-thon at the Fisher Grade School with all money raised going to the Crisis Nursery in Champaign. Players are collecting pledges for each lap dribbled around the gym, with a maximum of 100 laps. Also, admittance to the event requires donation of an item or items for the benefit of the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. If the public would like to help with either of these collections, you can contact us on our Facebook page under Central Illinois Wildcats Youth Basketball.
