EFFINGHAM — An award-winning New York Times best-selling author is coming to Effingham.

Reed Coleman is best known for his Gus Murphy and Moe Praeger series. Under his pen name, he has also written the continuation of the Jesse Stone series, originated by Robert B. Parker.

“He’s known for his gritty mysteries,” notes Amanda McKay, Director of the Effingham Public Library. “There’s an appeal particularly for readers who enjoy good description. It’s not for the faint-of-heart. This isn’t [television series] Murder, She Wrote.”

Coleman will appear this weekend at the Effingham Public Library. Tickets are available by calling the library!
