Artist Shares History of Urbana through Colored Pencil Drawings

ciLiving

A local artist is embarking on a unique project to capture history through colored pencil art. Lori Fuller has become well known across central Illinois and beyond for her landscape art and nature scenes. However, a new endeavor is helping to preserve Urbana’s past through some unique drawings.

Her new series called The Stories of our Past will take pictures from Urbana’s past and turn them into drawings. She is currently looking for 8 to 10 different photographs to use, which will then be displayed during an art show in 2019.
