10th Annual C-U Folk & Roots Festival


10th annual C-U Folk & Roots festival on Oct. 18-20, 2018.  
Most of the festival happens at various venues in downtown Urbana (Rose Bowl, Urbana Free Library, Iron Post, Community Center for the Arts) and we always start the festival with a kick-off show at the Krannert Center lobby. 

We have about 75 events planned for the three days of the festival including performances, dances, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, jam sessions, storytelling, and family programs for kids of all ages.
John Coppess the Limpin’ Cowboy (Folk, Country, Cowboy) With his distinctive bass voice, John is a well-know performer and leather worker from the C-U area.
