Springfield Art Association to Host 2018 Film Series


It’s the perfect season to enjoy the arts on screen and exhibits up close.  Springfield Art Association will host a film series.

Executive director Betsy Dollar shares the details.

at SAA in the M.G. Nelson Family Gallery
Pick up your series pass, enjoy popcorn and drinks while we screen Rogers Park, a film by Illinois film maker Kyle Henry. Kyle will be present for a Q&A session after the film. 
Seating is limited, so arrive early!

January 14 – March 6
The Film Series has been entertaining and challenging movie lovers for over 25 years.
Sundays 1 PM and 4 PM & Tuesdays 7 PM
AMC Classic Parkway Pointe 8 
Cost:  Individual Tickets: $8 Adults | $4 Students (with School ID) — tickets are only available at the door
Single Film Series Season Passes are available below for $50 

Two Exhibitions Opening:
Art is Exceptional, work by District 186 special needs students in the M. G. Nelson Gallery. 
Paperworks by Carolyn Owen Sommer, Teri Zee and Joan Burmeister at the SAA Collective. 
Both receptions on Friday, 12th, 5- 7:30.
