Hide and Seek with the Stars and Planets coming to Decatur Public Library

Amanda Young, Library Assistant for Children’s Services at the Decatur Public Library, and Jeff Tish, a Master Naturalist, are excited to share about Hide and Seek with the Stars and Planets coming in late February. 

It is the first of a 4 part series for the seasons. 

Thursday, February 28, 6:00 – 7:00 pm, Children’s Auditorium

Discover who’s who in the night sky. Enjoy Native American Stories. Create a star craft to take home. You will learn how to find the Big Bear, planets and so much more. Stargazing is outdoor fun for the entire family.

This program is FREE for 3rd through 5th graders. Parents are welcome to watch, but the program is limited to 30 kids. Registration is required. Siblings can enjoy the books, toys and games on the children’s floor with their parents.
