Yoga is for everybody and every BODY, from athletes (great cross training for run/walk races), employees, kids to seniors.
Yoga is great cross-training for getting ready for race day. Walkers and runners mostly move forward, (ideally), yoga encourages movement in the side plane for better mobility, recovery and less likelihood of injury. Also provides dynamic stretching to encourage long muscles and stable joints.
Hatha means balance—strength and flexibility, calm and determined, relaxed and active—we all need both! At hatha we try to help people find their compliment to be more balanced.
