Will Gerard is a Digital Reporter for WCIA. He started his position on Valentine’s Day 2022, after previously working as a Zamboni Driver at the Illinois Ice Arena.

Will graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in Broadcast Journalism. During his time in college, Will contributed to the sports section of The Daily Illini, while also serving as producer of two radio shows on WPGU. In his free time, Will enjoys skateboarding and listening to music. Some of his favorite artists are Vampire Weekend and Kanye West. Will has lived in Champaign-Urbana his entire life and is a proud Central alum.
