Theodora is the state capitol reporter for WCIA based in the Springfield Capitol Bureau. She covers politics and other events in the Springfield area.

A native of the Chicago suburbs, Theodora graduated summa cum laude from DePaul University in June 2022 with bachelor’s degrees in political science and journalism. She is thrilled to combine her love of politics and passion for storytelling in her daily work.

During her time at DePaul, Theodora served as a reporter and anchor for Good Day DePaul, the university’s student TV newscast, and was named one of the recipients of 2022 Student of the Year. She also served as the beat reporter at The DePaulia, the university’s award-winning student newspaper, covering the Student Government Association.

Outside of Theodora’s journalism work at DePaul, she served as an intern for Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi and a research intern at Vote Smart.

In her free time, Theodora enjoys chatting with and visiting her family, cooking, and watching movies and TV shows.
